Pembroke Mill Pond

Pembroke Mill pond is a Local Nature Reserve, it is one of the best bits of Pembroke. This shows the existing pond margin after development
planning permission was given on the strict undertaking that a strip of vegetation was to be left at the pond margin for wildlife. This shows the richness of the wildlife. This shows the Development after a site visit at which the developer said he could not sell the houses without a "view". Now the house has been sol d the new owner has treated the buffer strip with total weedkiller.
Theis shows the trees cut down by Andrew Dowling of Arbaid.
This is what it should look like teeming with wildlife. Anywhere else in the UK this would be treasured as a tourist asset.
WHERE IS THE CONSERVATION AREA ENFORCEMENT OFFICER FROM PCC.
