Littlegates Footpath

WE were told that the footpath has been registered. No work has been carried out no private notices removed the gate is still there and no attempt has been made to create access. What else do we have to do?

Independent Chapel built in 1832

Manorbier Newton. On a restricted waterlogged site the owner is converting this previously derelict building into a home. The outside is unchanged, the windows have been made to the originals with the correct fenestration, minimum changes all reversible have been made to the interior. This shows what can be done to preserve our heritage.

Castle Pond Pembroke

This locked gate obstructs pedestrian access to the North Shore of Pembroke River
Works to allow acess to the Barrage for maintenance
This will be built up as a tarmaced road to allow acess for an eighty tonne crane. All this done by stealth with no public notice or consultation. PCC at its best business as normal.

Romanesque Carving on early Christian Churches.

This example is from Ireland, the most complete in the UK is at Abbey Dore. There are examples in Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire but all have fallen down or been robbed in the last ten years.
Pembrokeshire has very important early Christian Sites, other places in the UK exploit theirs as tourist attractions, usualy high spending tourists. Here they are "developed" robbed or allowed to disintegrate.

Defensive Towers

There are three hundred of these in County Wexford alone. Pembrokeshire has four, two in ruins, one rebuilt and one hidden by new development. Think of the Tourist Potential .

Disturbance of wildlife Freshwater East Burrows

Recent studies have shown that sixty per cent of the animal and bird life is driven from sites which are given access to dogs.
PCNP Byelaws forbid dogs disturbing wildlife, our latest survey of Freshwater East Burrows show only two active sites with traces of rabbits. The Burrows were kept as Burrows by rabbits browsing the woody vegetation. Several local women take hunting dogs to the Burrows allow them to run free and feed any rabbits caught by their dogs to them.
PCNP are aware of this and are failing in their duty to maintain and preserve the habitat.
Since the Inquiry they have not brashed the brushwood and have only maintained a limited number of footpaths. Clearly an indication that the future of the Burrows are not safe in their hands.
Please write to the Commons Registration Officer at PCC before the committee meeting on the tenth of October, telling them to ignore the flawed Inspectors Report. We are to be shown the Report two days before so that we can make comments DEMOCRACY?

Ireland

Along every road are these buildings new and being built. One acre plots 105% mortgages most for sale, woodland wild moorland limestone pavement, plot bulldozed flat, stone according to the local rock, house design American downloaded from the Internet. Four basic designs only varying in colour number of pillars, size of the gates, rocks in the frontage wall and length of the drive.
Completely unsaleable, five to seven beds, capital is fleeing Ireland the EU must not provide financial support when they all go belly up. This must not happen here, PCC have a moral duty, a duty of care, and due diligence to enquire into the financial probity of developers so that we are not surrounded by empty unsaleable badly built properties, the slums of the future.
