GOVERNMENT HEALTH WARNING

Natural Resources Wales have been instructed to destroy all their records at the end of each year
We know the results, the records of Nicholas Edwards and John Redwood were expunged at the end of their periods of office.
Total failure of accountability.
All the data bases which provide a baseline for the environmental record in Wales have been lost
Soon we will have no past records to enable us to recognise and manage change.
A paradise for lawyers and private business
One example License to Extract Water no records kept so  no one can hold the licensee to account no matter how much water they abstract
Water Quality records destroyed so each reading is new with no comparison to existing conditions.
The list of effects is endless a disaster for all of us.
Stop the destruction now, personal records will be more resistant to destruction and we will know who is to be held to account..

Pembroke Castle

From PCC
A complete survey was made this showed no birds.
There were no mature trees cut down
the herbicide lasts three months, you can already see the regrowth.
FACT
Approximately three hundred yards by fifty feet. no birds on a vertical rock face covered in dense vegetation ?
Vegetation was already regrowing?
Yesterday only one species which was already dying.biodiversity ?
No mature trees cut down ?
define mature
define trees in contrast to scrub coppiced 12" across stumps which have been treated and are now dead
The wrong time of the year
The wrong treatment.
BUT all legal

Pembroke Castle Saga

The continuing effects of total herbicide

Saturday, 2 August 2014

Pembroke Castle PCC vandalism

We welcome the removal of trees from the cliffs and the base of the Castle
BUT
The works were carried out during the Bird nesting season (illegaly)
The woodchips (industrial waste) were spread up to two feet thick over the lower slopes
As a mulch it has killed all the vegetation ( rare plants on the rock face)
NOW some person has sprayed the whole area with total herbicide, killing everything
ACTION PLEASE sack whoever is responsible
We require answers.

Promoting dog tourism

Yesterday Barafundle Beach 20+ dogs in the freshwater stream totally children unfriendly
The fact t that should concern us all is the out of control dogs with owners who allow them to frighten and harm children.
When challenged, they are only being friendly when they knock a toddler over.
The health hazard is enormous during the time we were there two dogs(10%) in and out of the  water came out scraping their anuses on the sand and then going back into the water
Parasites are stimulated to release eggs and cysts  in water.
Children use the water they suffer injury and death many years later once upon a time these parasites were limited to farm dogs and dogs were kept outside
PCC advertise Pembroke shire beaches as dog friendly this is totally irresponsible and must cease
The Law must be enforced and Habitat Mitigation be implemented
Who will be liable for future injury claims.
PCNP has recognised the problem when they analysed water at FWE but have taken no action
Pembroke ponds are infected.
Any other hazard  of this severity would not be tolerated.
It would do immense damage to the tourist trade when not if it becomes front page news.
