There is a special general meeting of the CPRW on Saturday November 17th at Carno Community Centre (near Newtown) at 2pm. The quorum will be reduced by half if enough people don't object. Does it matter? The present system is designed to encourage democracy and that principle of democracy needs strengthening not weakening, which will be the result if the standing orders are amended.
REPORT OF THE MEETING
Quorum is half of the Executive Committee or not less than six.
Consideration will be given to altering or alternating the venue as members from Pembrokeshire have the furthest to travel along winding roads. A three hour drive and three hours back. Environmentaly unsustainable, too much for older members.
